The party starts from 3pm and goes until midnight. Your epic day of music starts with these outstanding musicians who are supporting Jessica Mauboy and Jon Stevens.

Busby Marou

Award-winning roots duo Busby Marou have supported some huge international artists including Elton John, Michael Bublé, Bryan Adams and Dolly Parton and played at mega festivals including Byron Bay Bluesfest and SxSW.

Tom Busby’s playful onstage presence combined with Jeremy Marou’s freakish instrumental ability has cemented their reputation as one of Australia’s most loved live bands in recent times. They have released four albums, earned a string of ARIA, APRA and Deadly awards and created a completely unique vibe based on Tom’s everyman’s approach to storytelling combined with Jeremy’s guitar virtuosity.

The music by Busby Marou inspires overwhelming feelings of joy. Tom Busby said he is looking forward to performing in Kununurra.

“We’re so excited to be coming back with the band to this part of the world. Beautiful people, spectacular country, it’s always a memorable journey.”

Emily Wurramara

Touted by Triple J Unearthed as one of the 5 Indigenous artists you need to hear, this incredible 23 year old already has an ARIA nomination and three QLD Music Awards to her name, with her debut EP ‘Black Smoke’ amassing over 1 million Spotify streams.

Originally from Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory, Wurramara loved hearing her uncles sing as she grew up, but also realised that women from her community rarely sang in public. Singing in both English and Anindilyakwa, her mission is to inspire and empower members of her community, especially young Indigenous women, to find their voice.

Featuring DJ Feline & Mark Gable

Kicking off the party with her trademark charisma, DJ Feline has fast become one of Australia’s most sought-after DJs, performing for global brands including Calvin Klein, Samsung and Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival. Whether it’s mixing downtempo funk at Sydney’s hottest venues, classic house and nu disco at sunset session in Bali, or dropping the big dance and disco favourites, she is always entertaining and gets the crowd moving!

Hosting the Aviair HeliSpirit Kimberley Moon Experience is former Choirboys frontman Mark Gable, songwriter of 80s smash hits ‘Run to Paradise’ and ‘Boys Will Be Boys’. Having succeeded in a cut-throat business for more than four decades, Gable is a story of commitment, resilience and unflagging energy in one of the most challenging environments of modern times: the live, electric, rock n roll stage.
