Booking Policy

Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully prior to purchasing a ticket to any Ord Valley Events Inc. event.

Ord Valley Events Inc. tickets are sold or issued subject to the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice (Consumer Code). A copy of the LPA Code can be obtained by visiting www.liveperformance.com.au or click here for a direct link to the code.

Refunds and Exchanges

All ticket purchases are final and shall not be refunded, except as required by law or in accordance with the Live Performance Australia (LPA) Ticketing Code of Practice or as otherwise specified by Ord Valley Events. 

OVE will only offer a refund or exchange of a ticket on the occasion an event is:

  • Cancelled;
  • Rescheduled;
  • Significantly relocated by OVE (and you, as the holder of the ticket, cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event).

Or to the extent otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law). You must apply for a refund within a reasonable time. OVE does not offer refunds or exchanges as a result of a change in your personal circumstances. 

Event – Cancellations, Rescheduled or Relocated

To eradicate any risk for the customer, should the event be cancelled by the Government, 2024 Ord Valley Muster ticket income is held in a locked bank account.

If the event cannot proceed on the advertised date or location, Ord Valley Events Inc. reserves the right to reschedule the event and offer a credit or exchange to the rescheduled date or offer a refund request window of 28 days.

If an event is cancelled, rescheduled, or significantly relocated by OVE, all liability is limited to the amount for which the ticket was purchased (including any fees or charges). Proof of purchase may be required for any refund or exchange. Unless required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), OVE will not be liable for any other losses incurred by you as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling, or relocation of an event, including any travel and accommodation expenses.

Tickets – Lost, Stolen, Damaged or Destroyed

OVE will only replace lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed tickets if the ticket’s authenticity can be verified, including proof of purchase, and if you make the request no later than two business days before the event. The ticket holder may be required to pay a fee for the replacement of the ticket/s.

Replacement tickets are NOT available for Kimberley Moon Experience General Admission tickets.

Ticket Holders Responsibility

Please give careful consideration the to refund and cancellation policies of travel, accommodation and other goods or Please give careful consideration to the refund and cancellation policies of travel, accommodation, and other goods or service providers when making arrangements for attendance at an OVE event.  You may wish to consider taking out relevant insurance to cover any losses in the event of cancellation, rescheduling, or relocation.

Authenticity and Validity of Tickets

Entry to an event may be refused if the authenticity or validity of a ticket is questionable, including damaged or defacement of a ticket and/or it has NOT been purchased from OVE or other authorised points of sale.

Resale or Tickets & Scalping

Tickets may NOT, without the prior written consent of OVE, be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction or other unauthorised resale sites), or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions), or to enhance the demand for other goods or services.  If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund, and the ticketholder of the ticket may be refused admission.  OVE will use reasonable efforts to notify you of such action.

Variations to Performances or Events

OVE reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute artists and/or vary advertised programs, prices, venues, seating arrangements (including ticket categories) and audience capacity without notice.

Conditions of Entry

The following form part of OVE’s Conditions of Entry unless otherwise specified:

The ticket holder may be denied entry into, or removed from, an event where Ord Valley Events has reasonable grounds to do so for the following reasons;

  • A breach in terms and conditions or specific event terms
  • Intoxicated
  • Under the influence of illicit drugs
  • Adversely affecting the enjoyment of the event by others

The right of admission is reserved. It is a condition of entry to events that a search of the person or possessions may be required at the time of entry to the venue. It is a condition of entry to register your attendance when visiting our venues for contact tracing purposes – please see section ‘COVID Ticketing Information’ for details.

Age Restrictions

Children under five years old may attend festival events free of charge on the condition they do not occupy a seat and they sit on the lap of a parent or guardian. 

Ord Valley Events Inc. events may be subject to age restrictions. Please ensure you check the event page for confirmation of age restrictions. If an event is classed as 18+, you will be asked to present a legal form of identification and may not be permitted entry if you cannot provide it.

Conditions of Purchase

Ord Valley Events Inc. collects your individual information in case of an event cancellation or change. If you fail to supply sufficient and appropriate contact information, Ord Valley Events Inc. is not responsible for failure to contact you.

Ticket holders attending the event do so at their own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ord Valley Events Inc. is not responsible for any loss, damage, harm or injury arising from a ticket holder’s entry to a venue or performance within a venue.

Ord Valley Events Inc. reserves the right to change any element of a performance sales structure, including but not limited to pricing, at any time and without notice.

All programs and artists are subject to change without notice.

In the event of a cancelled or changed performance or ticket, Ord Valley Events Inc. is not liable for any additional expenses incurred by ticket holders, including transport, parking, or any other expense.

The event organiser reserves the right to film, video, record, photograph, broadcast, or telecast the event.

Tickets are only valid when purchased through an authorised agent. Tickets may not be resold or offered for unauthorised resale for an amount that exceeds the original ticket price by more than 10% or as specified by law. 

Ord Valley Events Inc. reserves the right to cancel any ticket sold or offered for unauthorised resale in breach of this condition, without notice and without a refund, and the ticket holder may be refused entry into the event.

COVID Ticketing Information 

In the event of a change in WA Government health advice and subsequent change in venue capacity restrictions, we may need to cancel and refund a portion of purchased tickets. If this occurs, the most recently purchased tickets will be cancelled first. Earlier purchases will take precedence. We recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.  

We will endeavour to inform you of any changes to events you have purchased tickets for as soon as possible – please ensure your contact details are current and accurate. If you fail to supply sufficient and appropriate contact information, Ord Valley Events is not responsible for failure to contact you. If you are unable to attend your event due to any reason, including illness, waiting on COVID-19 test results, being in contact with a person suspected of having contracted COVID-19, or receiving direction to quarantine or self-isolate, as per the LPA Ticketing Code of Practice we are not required to provide a refund or exchange of tickets, vouchers, or gift certificates.
