Join us for the 20th anniversary of the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster, the Kimberley’s biggest annual festival. Celebrate with 10,000+ locals and visitors to the region enjoying 30 awesome events over 9 days, kicking off with the Aviair HeliSpirit Kimberley Moon Experience on Saturday 22 May.

Join 4,000+ guests at the Kimberley’s biggest music concert and highlight of the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster. Past performances from Australian artists have included John Farnham, Jimmy Barnes, Paul Kelly, Amy Shark, Guy Sebastian and Bernard Fanning. The 2021 Aviair HeliSpirit Kimberley Moon Experience will feature Jessica Mauboy, Busby Marou and Emily Wurramara.

Covid Safe Event

We are thrilled to be able to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster in 2021. To ensure we received our Covid Safe Event approval, some events will look the same and some will look a little different.

✓ scan in with the Safe WA app at each event ✓ maintain a 1.5m social distance space between your family/friend group and others ✓ use hand sanitiser provided at each event and wash your hands regularly ✓ please refrain from dancing ✓ if you are feeling unwell, please stay at home

Festival Program

Festival Hub

Fri 21 May – Fri 28 May

A non-stop program of music, comedy and performing arts awaits at the heart of the Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster; Festival Hub. Located at Celebrity Tree Park within easy walking distance of most accommodation, mingle over delicious food and drinks, then enjoy a selection of free and ticketed events. Family and 18+ shows available.


Art in the Park

Sun 23 May

Curated exclusively under the stars for the Muster, Art in the Park is an open air gallery, shining a spotlight on Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists from the region. Meander through the park, wine glass in hand, and discover arts, photography and more.


Muster Sessions

Mon 24 May – Fri 28 May, daily

Free entertainment, licenced bar and food with free entertainment featuring local artists rocking out at the new Festival Hub; 12pm – 2pm daily.


Yoga Boat

Mon 24 May – Sat 29 May, daily

Awaken your sense of balance and harmony on a boat ride to Packsaddle Lagoon for your unique yoga class with Wendy Jones. After class, enjoy a healthy breakfast as you travel back across Lake Kununurra courtesy of Kununurra Cruises.


The Flaming Galahs: Australian Songbook

Monty Cotton (A Boy Named
Cash) and Adam Spaghetti Fingers (double bass, banjo) take you along a cracking musical timeline with classics from Banjo Paterson, Slim Dusty, Hunters and Collectors, INXS, Powderfinger, Vance Joy and more.


Comedy in the Park

Expect big belly laughs at the new and improved Comedy in the Park event held over two hilarious nights starring Fiona O’Loughlin, Ivan Aristeguieta and Kevin Kropinyeri.


Party in the Park Family Event

A free family event at the festival hub with tons of entertainment and the famous Argyle Diamond Dig.


Corroboree Under the Stars

Mon 24 May

Experience the power of a traditional Corroborree by our Miriwoong Gajeroong people at the Waringarri Corroboree Under the Stars. This event is a favourite on the Muster calendar and showcases our local indigenous culture and art. Traditional tucker is included.


Muster Rodeo

Sat 29 May

The largest rodeo in the Kimberley and a day of ‘Big bulls, big cash prizes and big falls’! Watch local cowboys attempt the longest 8 second ride of their life on saddle bronc, bull and bullock rides. A great day for families with food outlets, licensed bar and live entertainment.


Wild Walks

Come on a 3 hour guided walk of the stunning country around Kununurra and through Mirima National Park.


Waringarri Art Centre Experience

Join local artists and arts workers for an art centre tour and be inspired by our textile artists’ designs as they guide you in printing your complimentary carry bag. Finish your experience chatting with artists over a morning tea served with fresh damper.


Secluded Islands Long Table Lunch

Tues 25 May

Fly from Kununurra to Kalumburu and board a yacht to enjoy a day on the water, a secluded beach, a beautiful long table lunch, a sail around the island and scenic flight back to Kununurra.

Morning Ord River Muster Experience

Spend the morning cruising along the Ord River with Triple J Tours and enjoying Australia’s longest daily river cruise. Marvel at the spectacular scenery, wildlife, flora and fauna as you cruise along the river to the Top Dam at Lake Argyle and back to Kununurra.
