A lot of the main tourist attractions in the Kimberley require 4WD access. There are a lot of places you can go in 2WD, however to give you the best Kimberley experience we recommend a 4WD for your holiday.

WHERE IS KUNUNURRA?
Located at the very top of Western Australia, and only 42km from the Northern Territory border, Kununurra is the gateway to the East Kimberley and in full swing across the Muster dates.
The Victoria Highway is the main road link between Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

- Broome to Kununurra is 1065km
- Darwin to Kununurra is 848km
- Katherine to Kununurra is 510km
Driving between Broome and Kununurra on the Victoria Highway, you can visit Geike Gorge near Fitzroy Crossing, Wolfe Creek Crater near Halls Creek and the amazing Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungles).

Gibb River Road
The iconic Gibb River Road is 660km and takes you between Derby to Kununurra (or Wyndham).
